Our creamy Ceramide Serum strengthens the skin barrier, nourishes with the body's own lipids and soothes irritated and neurodermatitis-prone skin.

Ceramides are a key component of our outermost skin layer and constitute up to 60% of the lipids in the skin barrier. They retain moisture, protect against external influences, and prevent skin from drying out. If this protective function is disrupted by external influences, the skin can dry out and no longer produce sufficient ceramides, resulting in irritated skin, dry and chapped patches, a feeling of tightness, and itching.

In our Ceramide Serum, we use five key ceramides to build and sustainably strengthen your skin barrier and soothe irritated, red areas. In addition to the direct ceramides, we also use the ceramide precursors phospholipids and sphingolipids. These are building blocks of the cell membrane in our skin cells and help your body act as a starting material for the formation of new ceramides. Sodium PCA is a key component of the skin's natural moisturizing factors and helps bind water, protecting your skin from moisture loss.
