Sugar hair removal
Why sugar hair removal?
The best way to remove hair is sugaring and here's why:
- It contains 100% natural ingredients
- Water soluble, no risk of dirty clothes
- No allergic reaction
- Does not stick to living skin cells
- Sugar is resistant to bacteria
- Minimal discomfort, irritation and redness
- Healthy, hairless result
- Safely removes hair from the follicle
- Prevents ingrown hairs
- Sugar hair removal is always at body temperature, so no risk of burning
- Safe for sensitive skin
- Reduced hair growth after each treatment
- Hair structure refines
- Skin feels soft, clean and comfortable
What do you do for your treatment?
What you can do before your appointment to get optimal results:
- 24 hours before sugar hair removal:
- Don't scrub your body! The sugar needs the dead skin cells to adhere.
- Don't apply any more body lotion, cream, oil, or other moisturizing products. This allows the sugar to adhere even better.
What to do after your treatment?
What after hair removal?
- Up to 4 hours after hair removal:
- Avoid heat: do not take a shower or bath, do not use a sunbed or sauna
- Do not exercise intensively
- Do not sunbathe
- Avoid tight clothing: this can cause irritation because the follicles are open
Additional tips and facts
Between sugaring sessions, you can continue working with these tips and tricks:
- Scrubbing twice a week prevents ingrown hairs. You can buy various scrubs at My Dear.
- When hair grows back it can cause an itchy feeling, exfoliating every other day can help with this
- Hydrate your skin regularly with a body lotion or cream. Dry skin makes it harder for hairs to grow through.
- If you've always shaved, it's best to stop 10 days before your first sugaring session. Your hair should be about the length of a grain of rice when you come in for your first sugaring session.
- Start sugaring in the fall or winter for optimal results during the spring and summer!
- SUMMER BODIES ARE MADE IN WINTER!
